All these songs are based on shameful samples extracted from shameless vinyls.

This is probably the most serene and calm of all the records that I have put together during the last 2 years. It could also be defined as languid, opaque and rainy.

Listening specs: ideally at night, in winter or autumn. In summer it might work as well.

"A collection of missing things" should not be listened in the room where the speakers are; I suggest listening to the album from another room and you will feel that the music is not coming from a different place but from a different time, a distant moment in the past.

All my albums are based on vinyl sampling techniques.
Sampling is the act of taking a portion of a pre-existing piece of music in order to reuse it to create some different or “new” pieces.

In other words, the so-called Artist feeds from other Artist’s creations. Here we have the concept of Parasitism, in which sampling cannot survive without other musician’s blood/bloody music.

Somehow, the connection between an artist and the art tradition or art history is also a matter of Parasitism or a Parasitism affair, because musicians, painters, etc. are always “taking” ideas, resources, and materials from the past.

The Parasite project would not be able to survive without other people´s music.
And certainly, an artist would not be able to survive without the art tradition.

By the way…the name Mi Cosa de Resistance comes from one of “The Simpsons” episodes, in which Homer becomes an avant-garde artist. At the opening night of his exhibition he says something like “and here My thing De Resistance”, which I always found utterly funny.

Este es probablemente el disco más sereno y calmo entre todos los que he editado durante los últimos 2 años.También podría ser definido como lánguido, opaco y lluvioso.

Condiciones de escucha: idealmente, por la noche, en invierno u otoño. En verano, tal vez podría funcionar bien.

Yo recomiendo escuchar "Una colección de objetos perdidos" no en la habitación donde están los parlantes, sino desde otra habitación y de ese modo, se sentirá que la música no viene de otro lado, sino de otro tiempo, de un momento distante en el pasado.
