Justin Patrick Moore It's great to see fans of Cincinnati's Bob Braun all over the globe. I had a chance to visit the Hairdryer Museum while they were working on the exhibitions recently, but almost got detained by the Hair Police. Incidentally, I saw Reynol's in Cincinnati circa 2003 but I'm guessing you weren't in the band at that point. Anyway, it's wonderful to get a soundtrack for these great exhibitions and I hope people come to the Queen City to visit this amazing museum. Favorite track: The Braun Room.

about

This album was commissioned in 2019 by the Cincinnati Hairdryer Museum to be the soundtrack of the their guided tours around the museum and it is also part of a bigger project that includes artists from all over the world.

This ambient collection will be premiered in May 2021 as a sound installation consisting of 10 tracks that will be played at very low volume in the different rooms and areas of the museum but not in syncro, avoiding any type of continuity between spaces.

Some of the sound sources used in this album come from field recordings taken in various hairdryers factories by the sound artist and industrial designer Gavin Johnson.

The download includes as a bonus 14 short videos previously posted on Instagram, plus a pdf file with the 10 unique and surreal collages that illustrate each song of the album. These videos are part of my previous albums and somehow they work as an extra 15 minutes audio-visual EP.
